About the Awards
Brought to you by Tappy Twins, an in-school, online and telephone support organisation for children in need. Courageous Kids aims to celebrate the amazing achievements the children we work with have achieved over the past twelve months. Many of the children have overcome serious trauma or have gone from being excluded from their classrooms to now being fully integrated back in class. Their individual journeys have been incredible and we are exceptionally proud of everyone of them. As a result we want to provide a glittering afternoon and evening of fun, glamour and acknowledgment; providing them with the full red carpet experience. Many come from underprivileged backgrounds and struggle day to day, rarely having time for real enjoyment.
Not only do we want to acknowledge their achievements but we also want to set things in motion for their futures. That’s why we need YOU. We are hoping for sponsors who will assist with financing the event, for companies that might provide an experience for one of our winners, or that may even provide mentoring, opportunities, work placements, or even apprenticeships. That way these children can look forward to the bright future they deserve.
Our high profile judges will also be offering mentoring support post-awards.
The Event
